The Bible
We believe that the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved written Word of God for the English speaking people of the world. It is our authority for all matters of faith and practice.
Psalm 119:89, Matthew 24:35, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21
The Fall of Man
God perfectly created mankind with a free will. He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and gave them one command: not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve was deceived by Satan and ate the fruit. Adam, however, willingly chose to sin, and because of his disobedience, a sinful nature and death were passed down to all of mankind.
Genesis 2:15-17, Genesis 3:1-24, Romans 5:12
The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the absolute deity of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He existed from all eternity, took on the form of a man, and is God manifest in the flesh. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus Christ.
Micah 5:2, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1, Colossians 2:9
The Gospel
We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a simple yet profound message that is preached throughout the Scriptures. Jesus Christ is perfect. Man is imperfect and sinful. Jesus Christ died a substitutionary death for the sins of all mankind. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb. After three days and three nights, Jesus Christ rose again from the dead, proving he was the Son of God with power over sin and death. If a sinner plainly repents and believes in Jesus Christ alone to pay for his sins, he will be saved and given eternal life in heaven.
Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 1 Peter 2:21-25
Biblical Separation
We believe Christians are called to be in this world, but not of this world. Christians must separate from the world's philosophy, not conforming to or imitating its wickedness. By setting ourselves apart for God, we can deepen our relationship with Him and be a witness to the world, allowing the world to see our good works and glorify God.
Romans 12:1-2, 1 John 2:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:22, 1 Peter 1:15-16
Music Philosophy
We believe music plays a vital role in a Christian's life. Believers should not listen to or play music that appeals to fleshly desires, but rather music that uplifts the name of Jesus Christ and encourages spiritual reflection. We do not support the modern contemporary Christian music industry such as: Bethel Music, Hillsong Worship, and Elevation Worship. Instead, we believe in conservative, Christ-honoring songs and hymns that speak to the heart and build up the church.
